LMU is excited to announce a partnership with the Maderas Rainforest Conservatory in Costa Rica! This is an incredible opportunity for students to experience One Health in action on an international Stage.

 

From the trip organizers: "We are aiming to create a diverse group of participants at undergraduate and even graduate levels so we can really explore some multidisciplinary approaches to health in the local community- we'll be touring livestock and agricultural facilities, working to educate local school groups in partnership with the district school board, participating in vaccine clinics, completing service projects at local medical clinics, gathering data on water quality, and learning measures to assess ecosystem health (to name a few!)."
